III. APPOINTMENTS

Cardinal John TONG has made the following appointments, effective 20 January 2016:

Bishop Michael YEUNG, VG, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Catholic Truth Society of Hong Kong, in place of Bishop Stephen LEE Bun-sang;

Bishop Joseph HA, VG, Chairperson of Diocesan Commission for Ongoing Formation of the Laity, in place of Bishop Stephen LEE bun-sang;

Rev. Deacon William LI Fook-sung, Chairperson of the Diocesan Pastoral Commission for Marriage and the Family, in place of Bishop Stephen LEE Bun-sang;

Rev. Lawrence LEE, Adviser to the Diocesan Pastoral Commission for Marriage and the Family.

IV. REARRANGED DIVISION OF WORK BETWEEN THE VICARS GENERAL

In view of the appointment of Bishop Stephen LEE Bun-sang as Bishop of the Diocese of Macau, the division of administrative and pastoral responsibilities between the three Vicars General, as delegated by Cardinal John TONG, will be rearranged (changes underlined) as follows with effect from 20 January 2016 ──

Bishop Michael YEUNG, apart from his offices as Chairperson of the Council and of the Board of Management under Caritas-Hong Kong, and his work related to the three hospitals run by Caritas-Hong Kong, will have the following responsibilities:

Bishop Joseph HA, OFM, apart from his office as Rector of the Holy Spirt Seminary, will have the following responsibilities:

The Episcopal Delegate for Education, Sr. Cecilia Wong, FDCC, will be responsible for co-ordinating the work of all the diocesan bodies related to Catholic education, including the Hong Kong Catholic Board of Education, the Hong Kong Catholic Education Development Committee and the Central Management Committee for Diocesan Schools.
