III.COLLECTION FOR THE PONTIFICAL WORK FOR THE PROPAGATION OF THE FAITH
A second collection is to be taken up at all public Masses on Sunday, 30 October. The total amount collected will be reserved for the Pontifical Work for the Propagation of the Faith and sent directly to the Holy See as a contribution of our Local Church to the missionary activities of the Universal Church.
Cheques issued for the above specific purpose should be made payable to “The Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong” and sent to the Diocesan Procuration.
IV. APPOINTMENTS AND TRANSFER
Cardinal John TONG has made the following appointments with effect from 1 November 2016:
Rev. Fernando MONTES LEDESMA, MG, ceases to be Assistant Parish Priest in St. Lawrence’s Parish, Cheung Sha Wan, Lei Cheng Uk and Mei Foo Sun Chuen, Kowloon, and is to be appointed Assistant Parish Priest in Mother of Christ Parish, Sheung Shui, New Territories.
Rev. Thomas A. PEYTON, MM, ceases to be Assistant Parish Priest in Christ the Worker Parish, Ngau Tau Kok, Kowloon; he will retire and return to USA.
Rev. Pierre Joseph JEANNE, MEP, ceases to be Assistant Parish Priest in St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Tsing Yi, New Territories, and is to be appointed Home Chaplain to St. Joseph’s Home for the Aged, Sheung Shui, New Territories.
Rev. Adjutus TIAN, OFM, appointed Assistant Parish Priest in St. Bonaventure Parish, Tsz Wan Shan, Kowloon, in place of Rev. Roland JABLONSKI, OFM, who will be given a new assignment by his own Superior.
