APPOINTMENT AND TRANSFERS

Cardinal John TONG has made the following appointment, effective 24 April 2016:

Rev. Anthonius REYNOLDS BALUNBUN, SVD, ceases to be Assistant Parish Priest in St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Tsing Yi, New Territories; appointed Assistant Parish Priest in St. Jerome’s Parish, Tin Shui Wai, New Territories, in place of Rev. Mechelle T. REGINIO, CICM, who will be given a new assignment by his own Superior.

WORLD COMMUNICATIONS DAY

                 
The 50th World Communications Day will be celebrated on the Solemnity of the Ascension, 8 May 2016.  The main theme is “Communication and Mercy: A Fruitful Encounter”.

In accordance with the usual practice, a second collection for the promotion of the media apostolate in our diocese is to be taken up at all public Masses.

Cheques should be made payable to “The Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong” and sent to the Diocesan Procuration.
