II. APPOINTMENTS AND TRANSFERS

Bishop Michael YEUNG has made the following appointments and transfers:

1) Effective 1 August 2018

Rev. Jomon VARGHESE, PIME, ceases to be Assistant Parish Priest in Holy Cross Parish, Shaukiwan, Hong Kong.

2) Effective 16 August 2018

Rev. Benedict LAM Cho-ming, VG, is to be appointed Parochial Administrator of Mother of Good Counsel Parish, San Po Kong, Kowloon, during the vacation leave (16 August to 15 November 2018) of Rev. Renzo MILANESE, PIME.

3) Effective 20 August 2018

Rev. Patrick SUN Ing-feng ceases to be Parish Priest of St. Patrick’s Parish, Wan Tau Hom, Kowloon; he will be given a new assignment after further studies abroad.

4) Effective 1 September 2018

Rev. Ferdinand LOK Hung-cheong ceases to be Parish Priest of St. John the Baptist Parish, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, and is to be appointed Assistant Parish Priest in St. Francis Parish, Ma On Shan, New Territories.

Rev. Timothy WAN Kwok-kwong, currently Assistant Parish Priest in the above-mentioned St. John the Baptist Parish, Kwun Tong, is to be appointed Parish Priest of the same parish.

Rev. Franco BELLATI, PIME, is to be appointed Assistant Parish Priest in the above-mentioned St. John the Baptist Parish.

Rev. Jomon VARGHESE, PIME, is to be appointed Parish Priest of St. Patrick’s Parish, Wang Tau Hom, Kowloon.

Rev. Sergio Arturo CHAVIRA ALVAREZ, MG, ceases to be Assistant Parish Priest in Rosary Parish, Tsimshatsui, Kowloon, and is to be appointed Assistant Parish Priest in Holy Cross Parish, Shaukiwan, Hong Kong.

Rev. Deacon Charles CHU Nien-tsu will assist in the pastoral ministry of St. Teresa’s Parish, Kowloon Tong, Kowloon, in place of St. Lawrence’s Parish, Cheung Sha Wan, Lei Cheng Uk and Mei Foo Sun Chuen, Kowloon.

Rev. Deacon Peter LEUNG Shing-kwok will assist in the pastoral ministry of Mary Help of Christians Parish, Ma Tau Wai, Kowloon, in place of St. Teresa’s Parish, Kowloon Tong, Kowloon.

5) Effective 3 September 2018

Rev. Fabio FAVATA, PIME, ceases to be Assistant Parish Priest in St. Andrew’s Parish, Tseung Kwan O, Kowloon; he will be given a new assignment by his own Superior.
