In the Chancery Notice of 30 May 2022 (as announced in the Sunday Examiner, 5 June 2022, p.3), regarding Fund-raising for Council of the Laity, the 2nd paragraph should be amended as “Cheques issued for the above specific purpose should be made payable to “Hong Kong Central Council of Catholic Laity” and sent directly to its Secretariat at 1, Tai Shek Street, Sai Wan Ho, Hong Kong.”

III. SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR THE APOSTOLIC SEE
On the basis of Canon 1271, the Apostolic See is making an explicit appeal for more contribution from the local Churches according to their resources, so that they may give greater support to the Apostolic See in its service to the universal Church. As an expression of the bond of unity and charity between our diocese and the Apostolic See, parishes are to take up a second collection at all public Masses on 26 June 2022 (Sunday).
Cheques issued for the above specific purpose should be made payable to “The Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong” and sent to the Diocesan Procuration.
