The Vatican announces on 17thMay 2021, Pope Francis has appointed Rev. Stephen Sau-Yan CHOW, S.J., Ed.Das Bishop of Hong Kong,
The Bishop-electwill be meeting the press on 18thMay 2021with the presence of His Eminence Cardinal John Tong, Apostolic Administrator and Most Rev. Joseph Ha, OFM, Auxiliary Bishop of Hong Kong.

Points to Notice for the press:
1. All media colleagues please enter via the entrance of Catholic Diocese Centre (Block 2)to take the lift to 9/F Auditorium.
2. Please register and collect your Media Pass at the media reception booth at the entrance of 9/F Auditorium.
3. All members of media organizations are only permitted to enter the 9/F Auditorium at 9AM earliest . In view of the government’s Prevention and Control of Disease measures, before entering the Auditorium, all should wear face masks, take body temeprature, cleanse their hands with sanitizer and are required to scan the ‘Leavehomesafe’ venue QR code or to record their names, contact numbers, and the date and time of their visits on registration forms.
4. Due to the pandemic and limited capacity, seating will be on afirst-come-first-served basis, extra areas will be opened for media seating with a livecast of the press meeting, please follow the instructions of the staff.
5. Photographing and recording is restricted to those wearing a Media Pass.
6. Please switch off or mute mobile phones, pagers and beeping devices during the press meeting.
7. Please follow the instructions given by the staff on-site after the event.
