Pope Francis elevated the Most Reverend Stephen Chow, S.J., Bishop of Hong Kong, to the Cardinalate during the Ordinary Public Consistory held at the Vatican on 30 September 2023.
Cardinal Chow is the 8th Chinese Cardinal in the history of the Church.
Cardinal Chow earnestly requests the faithful to keep praying for him and the God-given mission of the Diocese of Hong Kong.
