EUCHARISTIC CELEBRATION ON THE OCCASION OF THE ELEVATION OF BISHOP STEPHEN CHOW, S.J. TO THE CARDINALATE
The Eucharistic Celebration for invoking God’s blessing on the Most Reverend Stephen Chow, S.J., Bishop of Hong Kong, on the occasion of his elevation to the cardinalate, will be officiated by Cardinal Chow himself .
Media organizations are invited to cover the event. Details as below: Date : 4 November 2023 (Sat) Time : 3 PM Venue: Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 16 Caine Road, HK (No parking)
As the above-mentioned Celebration is a religious event, reporters will only be allowed to operate in the designated ‘press area’, which is approximately 40 metres from the altar. No flash photography will be allowed inside the cathedral.
The ceremony will be broadcast live on the diocesan website : www.catholic.org.hk and all media colleagues are welcomed to share our signals. As there is a limitation on the capacity of the Cathedral, a maximum of 2 seats will be reserved for each media organization, and registration is on a first-come first-serve basis.

After the Eucharistic Celebration, Cardinal Chow will meet the press at the Marian Shrine of the Cathedral Compound.
