DECREE

INCORPORATION OF MA WAN INTO ST. THOMAS THE APOSTLE PARISH

After due consultations with all interested parties and taking into consideration public transport network, I hereby decree that in order to facilitate pastoral care, the island of Ma Wan (to the north-east of Lantau Island), which has been a part of Epiphany Parish (Lantau Island, Discovery Bay and Peng Chau), is to be incorporated into St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Tsing Yi, New Territories, with effect from 1 January 2009.
