簡介曾隱藏同志身分大半生的施魅力，直至母親過世才踱出衣櫃，無懼、自由自在地愛。雖然他的愛情觀未必為大眾所接受和理解，但他和男伴自得其樂。因為他深信及時行樂、愛得坦蕩才是他追求的 Gay life。他無意要別人認同自己的愛情觀，只希望其他同志，特別是同志長者不要因「同志、長者」雙重身分邊緣化自己，要拾回尊嚴，自由自在地愛，他強調「要愛自己，才懂得愛別人。」

簡介10月31日立法會會議辯論和表決一個名為「研究制訂讓同志締結伴侶關係的政策」的議案和三個修正議案，原議案由陳志全議員提出，修正議案則分別有梁美芬議員、區諾軒議員、范國威議員提出。本文會就陳志全議員、區諾軒議員、范國威議員的議案，表達意見（註：原議案和修正案原訂於6月20日的立法會會議處理，但因會期安排的技術性緣故，曾四度押後），及重提政府於4月28日完成之「持續授權書條例草案諮詢」的重要性。

簡介This appeal concerns equality under the law and involves an application of the legal principles identified and applied in this Court’s recent decision in QT v Director of Immigration. It arises in the context of a claim to entitlement to spousal medical and dental benefits under the Civil Service Regulations (“CSRs”) and to opt for joint assessment of salaries tax under the Inland Revenue Ordinance. As will be seen, the appellant claims he has been unlawfully discriminated against on the basis of his sexual orientation.

簡介On 26 November 2018, the Applicant (a Hong Kong permanent resident and a homosexual) applied to judicially review the laws of Hong Kong insofar as they did not allow same-sex couples to marry (“1st JR Ground”), or they failed to provide any alternative means of legal recognition of same-sex partnership (such as civil union or registered partnership) (“2nd JR Ground”), or they failed to recognize same-sex marriage entered into outside Hong Kong (“3rd JR Ground”). The Applicant complained that there was violation of:- (1) his right to equality, or protection against discrimination on the ground of his sexual orientation, under Article 25 of the Basic Law (“BL”) and Article 22 of the Hong Kong Bill of Rights (“HKBOR”); and (2) his right to privacy under Article 14 of the HKBOR.

簡介If current trends continue, the number of girls who marry as children will reach nearly one billion by 2030. That’s according to the UN, which launched an initiative earlier this year to protect girls from child marriage. Girls who marry as children are less likely to achieve their full potential. They are more likely to leave education early, suffer domestic violence, contract HIV/AIDS and die due to complications during pregnancy and childbirth – their bodies simply aren’t ready.

簡介Police in Pakistan arrested a 60 year old man who was about to marry a 9 year old girl in contravention of the new laws that protect minors in that country. We do not know whether or not she had experienced puberty. That is not the point. She is a child, and either “marrying” her or conducting sexual relations with her is a crime. Despite the prevalence of Sharia Law in that land, the fact that the prophet is said to have married his favourite wife, Aisha, at age 6 and deflowered her at age 9 is not enough to save adult men who marry children in enlightened modern nations, including some majority Muslim ones, or countries with large Muslim populations.

簡介The Netherlands and Belgium were the first countries to give full marriage rights to homosexuals. In the United States some politicians propose “civil unions” that give homosexual couples the full benefits and responsibilities of marriage. These civil unions differ from marriage only in name. Meanwhile in the Netherlands polygamy has been legalised in all but name. The first civil union of three partners was registered. Victor de Bruijn (46) from Roosendaal “married” both Bianca (31) and Mirjam (35) in a ceremony before a notary who duly registered their civil union.
