CHANCERY NOTICE

I. TERMINATION OF DIACONAL APPOINTMENTS

With the joint permission of Cardinal Stephen CHOW, S.J., and Dom Paul KAO, Abbot of Our Lady of Joy Abbey (Order of Cistercians of the Strict Observance), Lautau Island, Rev. Deacon Charles CHU Nien-tsu will begin a probation period for the monastic life at the aforementioned Abbey, with effect from 1 January 2024 and until further notice. During the probation period, Rev. Deacon Charles CHU will cease to take up diaconal ministry under our Diocese, but he will remain incardinated in our Diocese until he has made the perpetual profession as a member of the aforementioned Abbey.

II. DIOCESAN COMMISSION FOR INTEGRAL HUMAN DEVELOPMENT
