I. APPOINTMENT

Cardinal John TONG has appointed Rev. Joseph TRAN Huong Van, OP, as Assistant Parish Priest in St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Shamshuipo, Kowloon, effective 1 May 2019.

II. WORLD DAY OF PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS

The 56^th World Day of Prayer for Vocations will be celebrated on the Fourth Sunday of Easter, 12 May 2019.  The theme for this year is: “The courage to take a risk for God’s promise”.

A second collection in support of the diocesan Holy Spirit Seminary is to be taken up at all public Masses on 12 May.  Cheques issued for this specific purpose should be made payable to “The Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong” and sent to the Diocesan Procuration.
